YG Entertainment announced Wednesday it would work with tour staff of American stars Beyonce and Jay-Z for K-pop group Big Bang’s world tour in 2015.

A YG representative said Wednesday that the staff in question had planned Beyonce and Jay-Z’s three-month “On The Run” tour in 2014, and that YG went to much trouble to recruit them for “Big Bang 2015 World Tour In Seoul With Naver.”

Yang Hyun-suk, head of the YG Entertainment, wants the upcoming concerts to be of unprecedented quality, as a token of thanks to loyal Big Bang fans who have patiently waited for the group’s comeback for nearly three years.

Since the release of their last EP, “Still Alive,” in June 2012, Big Bang members have worked on individual projects, but not as a quintet.

Yang is reportedly aiming for a sales record of 1.5 million tickets for the upcoming tour, which would top Big Bang’s previous sales record of 800,000 tickets for the bands tour in 2012, a feat achieved by no other South Korean idol group.

Big Bang’s world tour will kick off with shows in Seoul on April 25 and 26.

Registration for the event began Tuesday.

The tour will take place in 70 cities across 15 countries.
