Leetuek of K-pop idol group Super Junior will return to the SBS variety show “Star King,” local news reported Tuesday, citing the remarks of industry insiders.

Lee has already started the first filming for the show as a regular host alongside Kang Ho-dong, according to the reports.

Lee’s return to the emcee position comes more than two years after he left the entertainment scene to serve his mandatory military service in 2012. He joined the talent variety show as a co-host in 2011.

Leeteuk, 31, is actively taking part in variety shows since his military discharge. He is currently hosting a wide variety of programs, including Mnet’s “I Can Hear Your Voice” and MBC’s “Match Made in Heaven Returns,” as well as the upcoming JTBC show “White Swan.”
