South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is still mulling over the lead role in KBS’ upcoming drama “Producer,” his agency KeyEast Entertainment said Tuesday.

“It wasn’t confirmed whether Kim would take the role or not,” an official from his label said, refuting earlier reports that assured his appearance in the TV series. “Kim is reviewing the scenario and some details remain to be adjusted.”

In addition, if he accepted the role, “Producer” would not be the last drama for Kim before he enlists in the Army for nearly two-year mandatory military service, his label noted.

Singer song-writer IU will also reportedly star as a sought-after singer in the drama, a counterpart to Kim, a rookie producer.

Written by Park Ji-eun, a scriptwriter behind the hit drama “My Love from the Star,” the drama will comically portray the lives of a TV entertainment show’s producers and celebrities at a broadcasting station.
