Big Bang’s comeback album will have the mega K-pop idol group’s “best song ever,” according to Yang Hyun-suk, head of its agency YG Entertainment. He also confirmed the album’s release in April.

In an interview with local media on Thursday, the K-pop mogul said that he just recently heard one of the songs that the members had been working on and that it was “the best Big Bang song” that he had heard since the K-pop idols made their debut nearly a decade ago.

“My heart was actually fluttering as I listened to their new song. It felt so good to hear new music from Big Bang for the first time in a long time,” said Yang.

“Now in its 10th year, Big Bang’s endurance and musical ideas are at its best possible state and I know the album is truly going to shine,” he boasted. “I thought to myself (while listening to their new music), ‘This is why they are Big Bang, this is why they are YG veterans.’ It’s not just the title track that is great, but all the songs are great.”

Yang said the group would be returning to the music scene in full force.

“First up to bat for YG in 2015 is going to be Big Bang. We are planning to release the group’s album sometime in April,” he said.

The upcoming album will mark Big Bang’s first release as a group in more than three years since the group unveiled its monster hit album “Still Alive” in February 2012.
