Hankyung, a former member of K-pop group Super Junior, will take part in the Chinese adaptation of the Korean TV program “Real Men,” according to the Chinese media on Saturday.

“Real Men” is a popular Korean reality TV show featuring celebrities in the military barracks. It began with male stars and recently expanded its cast members to include female stars in response to its soaring popularity.

Chinese network Hunan TV bought the rights from Korean broadcaster MBC to produce the Chinese edition of ”Real Men“ in 2014. Producer Choi Min-geun of the original show personally flew over to China this month to help the local production.

Chinese stars including Huang Xiao-ming, Zhu Ya-wen and Chao Yu-ting have been confirmed to join the program.
