Former EXO member Luhan will appear in the Chinese version of the 2011 Korean movie “Blind” opposite Chinese actress Yang Mi, according to a local source on Wednesday.

The original film “Blind,” starring Kim Ha-neul and Yoo Seung-ho, was a thriller about a criminal investigation that must find the truth between two conflicting testimonies.

One testimony is an eyewitness testimony; the other comes from a woman with a visual impairment.

The upcoming Chinese version is drawing buzz with its decision to cast Luhan in the main role.

Luhan, a former member of K-pop boy group EXO, announced that he was leaving SM Entertainment, and began an acting career in China.

Last August, he appeared in the movie “20 Once Again,” the Chinese version of the Korean film “Miss Granny.”
