YG’s male artists working flat out on new recordings

YG Entertainment’s recording studios are working around the clock as the company’s male artists prepare new releases.

According to news reports citing a high-level official at the agency, many of YG Entertainment’s leading male artists including Psy, Big Bang and WINNER are recording new singles and albums.

“The many recording studios in the (YG Entertainment) building are being used almost all the time, mainly by male artists,” the official was quoted as saying.

According to the official, rapper Psy, boybands Big Bang, WINNER and iKON are among those preparing new releases in the first half of the year.

Rookie group iKON is set about release its debut single, perhaps as early as January, while Psy is on course to release new songs and an new album in the next six months.

The official was also quoted as saying that the studios are likely to continue working at full capacity throughout January.
