Actress Park Shin-hye has become the veritable “queen of tears” through the hit drama “Pinocchio.”

In the series, Park plays the part of journalist Choi In-ha who continuously faces challenges, both on the personal and professional front.

In Thursday’s episode, Choi In-ha confronted her mother with a dark secret from her past and appealed for her father’s approval after she chooses to quit her dream job rather than to hide the truth.

She then faced Ki Ha-myung (Lee Jong-suk), whose father was wronged by her mother.

And each time she poured out tears as her character came to terms with difficult choices.
