American singer Derrick Bullock came under suspicion Tuesday of plagiarizing the song “Eyes, Nose, Lips” by Big Bang member Taeyang.

The accusation of plagiarism recently surfaced in Korea after some K-pop fans claimed that Bullock illegally used the piano accompaniment from Taeyang’s song in his track “Change Me.”

Bullock released the song on iTunes last August, two months after Taeyang unveiled his award-winning track.

The American musician, however, refuted the allegations, claiming that he had the song stolen by Taeyang.

“I composed ‘Change Me’ four years ago. It is not a Korean band’s song,” he wrote on YouTube along with the music video for the tune.

“I can prove by all means that I have all the rights to this song,” he added.

Taeyang’s label, YG Entertainment, said that it is preparing to take action against Bullock.
