The SBS drama “Pinocchio” is rising as one of the most popular dramas of 2014, topping the Wednesday-Thursday drama slot for six weeks in a row.

One of the reasons for its success lies in the romantic chemistry between the two co-stars -- Lee Jong-suk and Park Shin-hye. Here are the top six most romantic scenes featuring Lee and Park.

1. Traffic cone scene

Broadcast in the second episode, this scene showed Lee’s unrequited love for Park when they were high school students. Wearing traffic cones to shield their heads from the rain, the couple portrayed a touching scene.

2. Bread kiss scene

The kiss scene was broadcasted on the fourth episode when Park and Lee prepared to attend their interviews for YGN news agency. Despite it being a daydream by Park’s father, the scene brought cheers from many viewers for its intimate romantic chemistry.

3. Arm pillow scene

In the sixth episode, Lee gives a pillow to Park, who is sleeping right next to him. The two start their careers as news reporters, spending most of their time in police offices, looking for incidents worth reporting on. Lee gives Park an affectionate look and strokes her hair, stirring the hearts of many female fans of drama.

4. First kiss scene

The couple shared its first kiss in the eighth episode, confessing their romantic feelings for each other for the first time. Along with the couple, the snow falling with Christmas ornaments in the background added to the scene’s dreamy mood.

5. Tearful kiss scene

Unlike their sweet first kiss, their second one was filled with tears. Aired on the 11th episode, the two ended their relationship so that Lee could focus on his revenge against Park’s mother, who is to blame for the death of his parents. Devastated, the two shared a tearful last kiss before saying good-bye.

Broadcast in the 13th episode, Lee revealed his undying love for Park after getting drunk and visiting her house. Believing that Park is just an hallucination, Lee touches Park’s face. As the couple who had broken up despite still having feelings for each other, the two’s pitiful romance brought tears to many viewers’ eyes.

The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. on SBS.
