Sungmin, a member of K-pop boy band Super Junior, tied the knot with actress Kim Sa-eun on Saturday.

The closed wedding ceremony took place from 6 p.m. that day at the Raum in southern Seoul, attended by some 1,000 family members, friends and colleagues.


Hosted by veteran actor Yoo Jun-sang and comedian Hong Rok-gi, the couple walked down the aisle without an officiant.

Sungmin’s bandmate, musical actor Kim Ah-sun and Brad Little sang to celebrate the pair’s marriage.

Sungmin, 28 and Kim, 29, first met as costars in the musical “The Three Musketeers” late last year. Their friendship evolved into a romance, and the two made their relationship public in October.

The couple left for the Maldives for their honeymoon right after the wedding ceremony.

Sungmin will continue to pursue activities as a member of Super Junior even after the marriage.
