The soundtrack for Korean drama “Birth of a Beauty,” on which K-pop boy band SHINee’s Jonghyun features, will be released Saturday.

The album includes the title track “She” by Jonghyun, which will be played during upbeat, heart-pounding scenes.

“Jonghyun’s mellow voice will help the female character better deliver her feelings,” said an official from the drama production company.

The rom-com “Birth of a Beauty” will be mainly about the female character Sara, played by Han Ye-seul, who turns into a beauty after plastic surgery from a rough, plus-sized lady. Joo Sang-wook plays another plastic surgeon who helps Sara.

The Saturday-Sunday drama will start airing at 10 p.m. Saturday on SBS.

Meanwhile, SHINee released a 12-track Japanese album “I’m Your Boy” in Korea on Wednesday. The band is currently in Japan on a concert tour that kicked off in September.
